"Deep River Rocks" 11" x 13.75" giclee print of    a sunny day on Deep River near Gulf, N.C..  This   rock outcropping and high bank is typical of Deep River.  It wasn't named deep for the depth of the water, but for the depth of the banks in getting down to the water.  This particular scene is from photos I took on a canoe trip I took in the Summer of 2004.  My mother grew up in Gulf and spent much of her youthful summers playing in the river on "the rocks".  This scene is what I imagined to be "the rocks" but I don't know if I'll ever know for sure.  250 signed and numbered by the artist.
